[pgpool-general: 3209] [pgpoolAdmin] Login Issue : superuser: unknown (Connection error)

Hi folks,
we are running pgpool 3.3.4 and pgpooladmin. After logging as postgres 
User the following message pops up:

  * This is pgpoolAdmin on localhost
  * For pgpool-II 3.3.
  * Login
      o login user: postgres
      o superuser: unknown (Connection error)

pgpool.pg_ctl ist already installed und works fine :

psql -p 9999  template1 -c "SELECT pgpool_pgctl('reload', '')"
  pgpool_pgctl
--------------
  t
(1 Zeile)

I used to have this message in apache log:
PHP Notice:  Undefined index: is_superuser in 
/var/www/html/admin-tool/templates_c/0c0549f8dec73a69ed2a902e241de5fc5694c02c.file.status_pgsql_buttons.tpl.php 
on line 37, referer: http://sx642/html/admin-tool/status.php

after intserting '$tpl->assign('is_superuser', 
isSuperUser($_SESSION[SESSION_LOGIN_USER]));' in nodteStatus.php, the 
notice above was gone. But the superuser Failure still remains.

Any help will be really appreciated.
