[pgpool-general: 1646] Replication Mode or Master/Slave Mode: use only Load Balancing feature

Please help me.

Can I only use a Load Balance feature in Replication Mode or Master/Slave
Mode?

The replication feature will be performed by a different software, not
pgpool (for example xDB software)

someone help me confirm this is possible?
