There is another Google own way on making things, but not to stop
using it. I just ignore it.

But this is another Gmail way of doing things. They shouldn't have a
folder structure where the main folders are inside of the Gmail
branch.

Sylpheed shouldn't change the behavior because Google doesn't follow
what is usual.

For one Sent folder...
Having IMAP accounts, you can always set the Sent server folder as
normal type and use only the local Sent folder. And if using POP
mailboxes, you can do the same or even don't use mailboxes so sent
are placed on Sent and filter mails at arrival.

Then you can use search folder to classify mails inside Sent folder.


For a Sent folder for each account... is just a matter of tastes.

I use a mix of both. I got used to both ways along the years
depending on the mail client used :)
