I looked everywhere before posting here and I just cannot see the option you are talking about.
I am using Version 3.4.2 (Build 1159), on Linux 3.18 x86_64.
built with:
./configure --prefix=/usr
--enable-ldap
Are you using the windows version perhaps?
I also could just be blind today....but am not seeing it.
PS Are we top posting in this list?
