Hello ;),

as you might have noticed from the other thread
(http://www.sraoss.jp/pipermail/sylpheed/2011-December/004921.html),
i am searching for a way to get a more prominent notification when new
messages arrive in Sylpheed than what the Sylpheed tray icon provides.

While searching, i came across a tool called "Snarl", which also seems
to be open source:

https://sites.google.com/site/snarlapp/home

Sylpheed doesn't seem to be supported out of the box however.

For currently unsupported applications, the Snarl FAQ
(https://sites.google.com/site/snarlapp/help-and-support/faq) seems
to suggest to contact the developers of the unsupported application and
direct them to the Snarl Developers page:

https://sites.google.com/site/snarlapp/developers

So, Mr. Yamamoto, as Sylpheed already has an "Execute command when new
messages arrived" option, can you tell what a command would have to
look like from the information that is provided through the Snarl
Developers page mentioned above? ;)

If there is someone else here who can also explain that or maybe even
someone who is using Sylpheed in combination with Snarl and can provide
information on how to get that to work, it would also be appreciated of
course :).

Thank you very much in advance.

Greetings
