Actually vsyslog() is being used in src/watchdog/test (more precisely,
it is used in stab.c). However files under the directory are not
seemed to be used at this point. If so, we could remove the whole
directory and change vsyslog to syslog as you propose. I think we need
confirmation from Usama for this.
