<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:left;direction:ltr;unicode-bidi:embed">I have a large database and would like to improve the time the old master become a slave. I tried to use pg_rewing and check the return value. If it fails I initiate fully sync
but if the return value is zero I skip the full sync. However, on several occasions the return value was zero, but wal receiver did not come up on that machine.
