So, if I understand correctly, you are shutting down the network interface on <BR>
server 2 and from that point that server has problem connecting to postgresql <BR>
via pgpool ? Would that be because that server is running active pgpool and <BR>
you connecting locally to it, which means on simulated downtime it has lost <BR>
connection to primary database in pool (which sits on server 1, right )? <BR>
