<p class="MsoNormal">I am testing pgpool failover for PostgreSQL with streaming replication. When I shut down the master server, pgpool executed the failover script and promoted the slave – i.e. it created the trigger file and slave restarted. But I had to
restart pgpool so that it would redirect new requests to the slave. What parameters would impact this behavior – i.e. when a new request comes in, redirect it to the slave (now master)?</p>
